What a journey it has been so far. In my twenties I discovered the importance of self-development. Working in the harsh world of business, I was naive, young, hungry for knowledge and had big dreams and aspirations .

You can do anything you want to do if you can only believe it possible… I chanted

It was my favourite saying, looking back this saying was the start of  my personal journey.  Over the past forty years I have soaked up reams of  self-development materials, investigated and experimented with many ideas and techniques in pursuit of  keeping positive, motivated, enthusiastic, balanced and healthy.

In my thirties I came across Reiki and quickly became an eager student and in 2003 qualified as a certified Reiki Master Practitioner.

Why?

The local master practitioner offered to treat my grumpy old cat. An offer I would have discarded without my belief “that anything is possible”  My cat, never entertained  the idea of sitting in a room with a stranger, so I didn’t really hold out much hope! However, in disbelief I watched as she enjoyed this strange thing called Reiki. I could see positive changes in her including the calming, relaxing effect the Reiki treatment had.

After a couple of  treatments, with positive outcomes I decided I would like to know more about Reiki. I could then treat her myself. The rest is history as they say!

To me Reiki is a valuable tool I use in everyday life, and something magical I have been able to share with  friends, family and  clients for the past 20 years.

I am always happy to provide more information about Reiki  and welcome the opportunity to speak to any groups.

My intention is to always bring positivity, passion and integrity to Reiki.  Treating and teach those interested in natural healing and raising awareness of the healing energy.
